Just the Facts...
On Med-Pay For Car Insurance
Under Colorado's new auto insurance law, the driver at fault for the accident is responsible for all damages and medical bills.
If the accident is your fault, your auto insurance will not pay for any medical treatment for you or your passengers.
You may have to pay thousands of dollars for hospital and doctor bills, lost wages, and other expenses incurred by you and your passengers.
Med -Pay is an optional coverage everyone should add to their policy.
If you are the at fault driver, Med-Pay will pay for the medical and other expenses of your passengers and you.
Select a mid-to-high level ($10,000 or $25,000) to make sure you have enough coverage.
Adding Med-Pay to your insurance policy will only increase your rates slightly (as low as $5 a month in some case), but could end up saving you thousands of dollars in medical bills.
